A Honolulu-based musician, entertainer, and songwriter. Mark performs solo acoustic shows at popular venues on Oahu. You can also find him singing, drumming or playing guitar with Kailua Bay Buddies, The Funkaholics and other various local artists.

ABOUT MARK
Mark first established his presence in the Honolulu rock scene in 1976 as a drummer/lead vocalist. He performed with various rock bands at outer-island nightclubs, southern California, Korea, Japan, Canada, and the pacific northwest.
In the mid-to-late ’80s, Mark was the lead singer for the Honolulu rock band, “Passion”. Passion opened for Bon Jovi, Metallica, White Snake, REO Speedwagon, et al. Mark then joined Paul Dean of the Canadian rock band Loverboy for Deans project, “The Heat”, and toured western Canada as Paul Dean’s lead singer.
Mark returned to the Islands and formed the rock band, "Big Dawg" with John Andreoni, Joe Galiza, and Thomas Hinson. Big Dawg performed in various rock establishments including The Wave Waikiki, C5, and Sand Island R&B.
In 1999 Mark began his acoustic journey with guitarist extraordinaire Bin Yasuno.Today, he is well-entrenched in the Honolulu entertainment scene and has been a finalist as a Nā Hōku Hanohano nominee with his group Kailua Bay Buddies. Mark has also sung and played on multiple Hoku award-winning projects.
Mark is the exhibits audio visual technician coordinator at Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum. He resides in Kailua with his wife, Shelly and their dog Juju.
